Riddles for the Gods’ Missing Items:
![]()
Aphrodite:
Your pulse may start to race with all the sparkle in this place.
It’s time for you to do your part and start to find my golden heart.
Now if this maze has left you crazed,
Just be glad you don’t need to travel around the world in eighty days.
Artemis:
There is a hunt soon and without my bow I cannot take part,
You’ll find it where people can create and display art.
There is studio space, performance space, and a gallery,
Where artists help each other – will you help me?
Hermes:
Searching around your community may be weary travel,
But you must go to a place where higher thought you can unravel.
I bring messages to the gods, but without my special hat they’ll be
late.
Help me find it and I’ll come fly to see you when you graduate.
Poseidon:
I rule all sea life great and small, with my fork-like weapon I
stand tall.
Now I have lost it, where can it be? In this place women seem happy.
Their nails are glossy and white at the tips, assorted nail colors, some
match with their lips.
So if you want me to be happy, go find my trident and make it snappy!
Zeus:
As the king of the gods, with this I control the weather.
You’ll find it where people can eat and drink together.
Go inside if you want to order your own little jolt,
But whatever you do, please find my bolt.
Mount Olympus:
I’m the tallest mountain in Northeast Greece,
The home of the Olympian gods and goddesses.
You may find my picture at a Latino eatery whose name comes from a plaza
in Mexico City,
But you will not find any Mariachi bands playing here.
