* Calling all artists!  The Library will be having an arts showcase on Thursday, August 6, 2009, from 6:30-8:00 PM.  Local artists and performers are invited to display their work, give demonstrations of how they create their art, and give brief performances.  Due to limited space you must fill out a registration form, available for download here or at the Library.  For more information call 465-3082 x3 and ask for Kate or Lisa.

* Think you know your art?  Check out our "Be Creative"-themed guessing game across from the circulation desk in the adult department.  Enter your guess every week for a chance to win a $5 Dunkin Donuts gift card.

* In an effort to be more cost-efficient the Library will no longer be sending overdue or hold notices.  Only bills for long-overdue material will be mailed.  Adult patrons have the option of receiving email notices instead of paper notices.  If you would like to receive email notices please sign up at the circulation desk.

* Library book bags are here!  Canvas tote bags with the Willimantic Public Library logo are available for $10 in the Children's Department.
