Storytime and Craft Events
If you wish to know more about the storytimes offered in the Children's Department you can contact us at HWLCD "at sign" biblio (dot) org and you will be put on our mailing list.

• All Welcome Storytime: Fridays at 10:30 AM. This program is hosted by the Discovery Program.
• Chess and Game Club: Saturdays at 1:00 PM. Ages 8-12. Strategy games and Wii games also provided.

Special Storytelling Program during School Vacation Week
Tom Lee, storyteller, will present a program featuring stories from around the world. Since the Library is closed on Mondays, this event will be held at the YMCA in Naugatuck on April 13, 2009 at 2:00 PM. This event is for children ages 5 and up. It is sponsored by the Connecticut Humanities Council. Please register by calling the library at 203-729-4591.

Stories and Crafts for Grades 1-4 will be held on April 14 at 2:00 PM. The theme will be weather and the children will make kites. Please register by calling 203-729-4591.

Movie: Kung Fu Panda will be shown April 18 at 10:30 AM. To register for this movie, call the Children's Department at 203-729-4591.
