Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Library was founded in 1989 to support and promote library services and activities. The Friends raise money to supplement the library budget through a yearly membership campaign and special events, such as the book sale that takes place each June. During the past year, the Friends have contributed generously towards the library's book budget and automation fund. In addition, they purchased a new computer, co-sponsored a book discussion group and provided refreshments for all the art show openings.

Their newsletter, Bookmark, is published quarterly and is mailed to Roxbury residents.

Annual Book Sale - June 19, 20th and 21st

The Friends of the Roxbury Library would like to thank everyone who attended this year's Book Sale.  The Preview Party on Friday evening June 19th was well attended and thoroughly enjoyed by all present.  Sales continued on Saturday, June 20th and Sunday June 21st.  The Friends would like to thank all our visitors and volunteers  who made this year's fundraiser such an overwhelming success.
