Congratulations to Our Children's Department!
The Rockville Public Library children's department has received a $3,000 grant from the Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism to support 13 programs presented between July 1, 2008, and June 30, 2009.  RPL is one of 57 organizations to receive this funding and one of only two to receive the top amount of $3,000.

Help ensure the future of quality library service in Vernon by contributing to our Annual Appeal!  Packets for the 2008 Appeal will be mailed in October.  If you do not receive a packet in the mail, please pick one up at the library, or call us at (860) 875-5892, x 25, to request that we send you one.

You can place requests for materials and renew your books online, as long as they are not overdue, no one has placed a hold on them, and they have not already been renewed twice.  Directions are provided on the "Search for Materials and Check Your Account" link in the list at the left side of this page.

A variety of popular TV series are available on videocassette and DVD.  Check the shelves near the adult circulation desk to find your favorites!

If you enjoy audio books, check out the 500+ titles available on CD on the kiosk in the Reading Room.  Featured authors include Clive Cussler, Janet Evanovitch, James Patterson and many more!  If you prefer books on audiocassette, the library still has a selection on the mezzanine.
