TO WORK PROGRAM
A
Resume Writing workshop will be held on Wednesday February 17, 2010 from 6:00
PM-7:30 PM at the Library. Mr. Carl J. Ochnio, Director of Counseling and
Career Services at Manchester Community College will conduct the workshop and
offer advice and tips on creating a resume designed to attract the attention of
prospective employers. Attendees must register by visiting the circulation
desk or calling the Library at 860-875-5892 x 21 or emailing the Library at
rockvillelibrary@biblio.org.
NEW LINKS ON WEB SITE
Two new links are available on our web site. The first is a link to our
Strategic Plan. The Strategic Plan outlines the future goals we have for
the Library.
The other link is to the Pipeline, our quarterly newsletter. The newsletter
has previously only been available by mail or in the library. Now the latest
news can been viewed from home on your computer. Both links are in the box to
the left.
FRIENDS OF ROCKVILLE PUBLIC LIBRARY
If you want to give back to the community at large, but are faced with a busy
schedule, consider joining the Friends of Rockville Public Library. All
of the funds raised are contributed to the library for special events, needed
equipment, and other unbudgeted costs. Membership starts at $2.00 and forms are
available at the Circulation Desk.
