SUPPORTING THE RIDGEFIELD LIBRARY

The Ridgefield Library Association is incorporated as a private library association. While recognized as the provider of public library service for the town of Ridgefield, the Library receives only a portion (app. 75%) of its annual operating budget from a town grant.  Most of the remaining funds are raised privately from individuals, businesses, foundations, and community organizations.

ANNUAL APPEAL

A donation to the Annual Appeal is an excellent way to show your support for the myriad services offered by the Ridgefield Library. Over 1,000 individuals, families, and groups participated last year. TRIBUTE GIFTS

A donation to the Library is an ideal way to remember or recognize a loved one or colleague or to mark a special occasion. For a contribution of $30 or more, the Library will make every effort to personalize a circulating library item in the subject area or format of your choice, subject to our Materials Selection Policy.  Donations of under $30 will be placed into a gift fund for purchase of materials and library furnishings.  Great for recognizing a special teacher, honoring a promotion or retirement, or as a birthday gift for a lover of books!
