Summer Reading in Full Swing

If you were one of the 2,241 people who visited the Library on Monday, you don't need to be told that Summer Reading is underway! For the rest of you, now's the time to sign up for our children's, teen and adult reading programs, all with theme of "Reading Around the World." There are special programs, raffles and incentives, and lots of fun with an international flair, thanks to the Friends of the Library and many generous local merchants who have provided prizes.

Hollister Film Series Highlights Foreign Films

In keeping with the Summer Reading theme, the summer's selections for the Hollister Film Series are drawn from acclaimed recent foreign films. You can see the full schedule and watch video previews of many of the films at the link listed below.

Films are shown at 1:30 and 7:00 pm on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month in the air-conditioned Dayton Program Room and are free thanks to a generous individual donor. Light refreshments are served.
