Teen Summer Reading Events

Young adults between the ages of 12 and 18 are invited to attend Change Your Stuff workshops at the Oxford Public Library in July and August. Registration is required for these free programs.

Fun and easy duct tape craft workshops will be held twice: on Wednesday, July 23 at 2:30 PM, young adults can make wallets completely out of duct tape. On Monday, August 4 at 5:30 PM, a workshop will be held to make roses out of duct tape and pipe cleaners.

On Monday, July 28 at 5 PM, young adults can give their laptops or cell phones a fresh new look during the Steampunk Workshop, a program made possible by a grant from The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven. On Thursday, July 31 at 5:30 PM, a workshop will be offered to teach young adults how to make jewelry out of hardware from a toolbox.

For more information, please call the library during its regular business hours.
