Fernando DeAndrade, Jr. Memorial Fund

The DeAndrade family has pledged to help FOLIO with proceeds raised from fundraisers held by the family in honor of their son’s memory.  The funds are earmarked for the Children’s Section in a new library building.  Their hope is to raise money to furnish a Children’s craft room and story time area for all of the kids of Oxford to enjoy.

The DeAndrades have already donated over $3000 to the Fernando DeAndrade, Jr. Memorial Fund from proceeds that were raised from their ‘Spy Night’ fundraiser held last November at the Colonial Tavern.  The Friends are extremely grateful for their generous support for such a worthwhile cause. 

Mom, Christina, has been busy gathering donors for an upcoming Spring Raffle to raise funds for the Fernando Fund & Fernando’s Fund for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).  Some prizes include a handyman’s service for a day valued at $800 & a laptop computer.  Please stay tuned for more information about the upcoming raffle.   If you wish to donate a prize or participate in the raffle preparation, please contact Christina at cmdeandrade@yahoo.com.
