Summer 2010 For Teens

It's summer time and that means time for teens and tweens to have fun at your library!

Val Fisher, our Young Adult and Teen Services Librarian, has been busy setting up all kinds of fun programs for everyone in grades 5 - 12.

Highlights of these programs are:

  • a Weekly Raffle - register starting July 5 and receive a raffle ticket for every 100 pages read - there is one raffle per week through August 13
  • our ongoing summer programs: every 3rd Wednesday is the Anime Club and every 4th Wednesday is the Teen Book Club (July's book is "Savvy" by Ingrid Law.)
  • and of course the ever popular WOW (Way Out Wednesday) programs - register for 1 or all 7 of these special programs (for details, go to Teen Programs)

Also, we need summer volunteers! If you are interested, click here for details and then stop by the Junior Library and fill out a volunteer application.

Any questions, please call the library at 860-355-1191 x204 or email vfisher@biblio.org and join the fun
