This is our Friday Forum Series where the 3rd Friday of every month the New Milford Public Library hosts mystery book discussion group. This month's book is "Janissary Tree" by Jason Goodwin. Independent Spirit

The New Milford Public Library presents our monthly Independent Film Series the last Wednesday of every month at 6:00 pm. Bring a sandwich, we'll provide dessert & coffee.

Healthy Heart Screening

New Milford Public Library is pleased to host representatives from the Praxair Regional Heart & Vascular Center of Danbury Hospital who will conduct a free cardiovascular screening program. This screening includes: health history and status, ssteps to wellness, risk assessment, blood pressure check, finger stick cholesterol check and counseling. The program begins at 1:00PM in Memorial Hall.

Monday Movies at NMPL

View foreign films and discuss them during Monday Movies at NMPL. This month the free series takes place at the library on April 12 at 2 PM and will feature "Rosenstrasse". This is a German film, is rated PG-13 and runs for 136 minutes. Light refreshments and a discussion will follow the presentation.

The Mystery of the Old Leather Man
