1. Entry must be in the form of one (1) dozen cupcakes on a disposable or cardboard plate.

2. Cupcakes are made without using box mix.  Recipes are requested printed on a single 8 1/2 x 11 paper.  Please Print entrant’s name and telephone number on the back of the page.

3. Any age may enter—one entry per person.  Please register at the Middlebury Public Library.

4. Entries will be sold by donation at conclusion of contest to benefit The Friends of Middlebury Public Library.

 

Judging Criteria:
1. Flavor: Aroma, taste, good balance of flavoring.

20 points.

2. Texture: Moist and tender—not soggy or dry.

10 points.

3. Inside and outside characteristics—consistent shape with overall appeal.

10 points.

4. Frosting: Taste, texture, color.

10 points.

 

 

Prizes:

1st: $25 gift certificate to A Latte More.

2nd:$15 gift certificate to Middlebury Pizza.

3rd:$10 gift certificate to TCBY.
