AUTHORS: COZY Mysteries
What’s
a cozy? Common elements include:
-
An amateur sleuth or eccentric professional who uncovers
the criminal through an emotional or intellectual examination of the
scene, suspects, and clues.
-
There’s
no explicit sex, excessive gore or violence.
-
Typically, a cozy has a small setting so that the pool of suspects
is limited and characters know one another.
-
By the end of the story, the criminal is punished and order is restored
to the community.
-
Cozies are best typified by the works of Agatha Christie.
