Bibliomation has created a fee-based service to meet the needs of libraries for on-site technical support in all areas of PC and LAN functionality. Services include:
For libraries requesting BiblioTech support for the first time, the service begins with a site audit. BiblioTech staff will visit the library, analyze the traffic on the LAN, inspect hardware and software currently in use, and meet with the director or designated staff to discuss plans and evaluate the support options that are available to the library through BiblioTech. |

The Bibliomation Liaison Certification Program (LCP) is designed to empower libraries to become more self-sufficient by increasing staff technology expertise. The LCP is a two-day formal training curriculum presented by BiblioTech staff. Liaisons are trained in maintenance and troubleshooting of PCs as they relate to the library's local area network. At the conclusion of the course, a competency test is administered. Course attendance and successful completion of the competency test make the library eligible for a lower BiblioTech rate schedule.
